The Dark Ages

Dear Uncle Steve,

Thank you for the American Express gift card. I've already used it to buy some school supplies, and I suspect I will buy a lamp soon to light the darker corners of my apartment. 

I hope your winter stays as warm as it has been so far.

Doc B's Fresh Kitchen

Hi Uncle Steve, The other day, Lauren and I headed up for Fort Lauderdale for a show that my mother had gifted me tickets for. Beforehand, we had dinner at the nearby Doc B's Fresh Kitchen. It's a small chain of high-end contemporary American restaurants. Think Seasons 52, but brighter.
