Hi Uncle Steve, The other day, Lauren and I headed up for Fort Lauderdale for a show that my mother had gifted me tickets for. Beforehand, we had dinner at the nearby Doc B's Fresh Kitchen. It's a small chain of high-end contemporary American restaurants. Think Seasons 52, but brighter.

Hi Uncle Steve, Lauren and I picked up a quick midweek lunch at gigi (stylized lowercase) in Midtown Miami. I'd call it an old standby, as we've been there before and love it, but we just don't go there enough.

For the previous short-form review, please see here . Hi Uncle Steve, Lauren and I got out to Fi'lia again last night and, without the family, I think a long-form review is in order. Another great meal and highly recommended, which I'll get to in a minute, though the pictures were problematic.

Hi Uncle Steve, Quick post here about Dr. Smood. Was putzing around with friends this afternoon in Brickell and we ended up in the new Dr. Smood location in the Brickell City Centre. Dr. Smood is a (and I'm stretching this) chain of cafes in New York City and the sixth borough, Miami, focusing on healthy food: Juice, smoothies, sandwiches, etc.
